Western Maritime Institute is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join its growing team. This position is performed on-site, full-time at our Surrey Campus. Occasional travel may be required.

As a Student Service Coordinator you will be contributing to the growth of the campus by creating processes, overseeing administrative operations, improving student services, and implementing communication procedures.

Reporting to the Campus Director and under the supervision of the Admissions Team Lead, the Student Service Coordinator is responsible for administrative support to the Admissions team and providing exemplary customer service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students
- Conduct both in-person and virtual info sessions on course offerings
- Work as a team player with fellow staff members to optimize productivity
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the recruiting, registration, and enrollment process.
- Maintaining contact/rapport with students to monitor their progress during their program; practices “open door policy”
- Provide reports to the Senior Management team regularly.

- Administrative Experience prefered
- Ability to handle sensitive & confidential information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Customer Service & Marketing Skills
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships, both over the phone and in person
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Superior work ethic with the ability to initiate and remain on task with mínimal supervision
- Teamwork oriented and the ability to work under pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
