Yard Worker

**Job Overview**
Gold River Marina is a small marina located in Chester Basin, NS and we are looking for a committed and hardworking individual to join our Yard Services Team.

**Duties**
- Pressure wash, hand wash, wax and bottom painting of boats
- Assist with hauling and launching boats of various sizes on the marine railway
- Repair or build floating docks as needed
- General labour around the yard such as moving masts and removing shrink wrap from boats, etc.
- General maintenance tasks around the yard
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting and work in varying weather conditions is required.

**Experience**
- Boating knowledge or previous experience in the marine industry would be an asset but is not mandatory.
- Basic carpentry skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge, particularly with outboard motors would be considered an asset.
- WHMIS required or to be completed (cost covered by employer) within first month of employment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
