This unique role for a versatile, driven, problem-solver will work closely with the Strategy & Planning team and other stakeholders and play a key part in making our strategic vision real.

**The Role**

The **Data Analyst - Corporate Insights & Analytics,** will be pivotal in supporting data-driven decision-making processes and shaping our emerging data analytics practice. Working closely with a variety of business stakeholders to understand their needs and goals, the role will determine the best way to harness data and provide actionable recommendations.

Reporting to the Manager, Insights & Analytics, the Data Analyst will support
- **Dashboards and Reporting**: Manage and provide on-going support to business operational teams for existing dashboards, reports and board presentations.
- **Data Collection and Analysis**: Acquire, clean, and test data from various sources to support your analysis.
- **Reporting and Visualization**: Create clear, visually appealing reports and dashboards to communicate insights effectively.
- **Data Interpretation and Insights**: Conduct analysis and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
- **Data Quality and Governance**: Implement data quality checks and adhere to data governance policies for accuracy and compliance.
- **Business Insights and Strategy**: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- **Communication and Relationship Building**: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to diverse audiences across all levels of the organization from business users to executive leadership and build productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
- **Continuous Learning and Development**: Stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge with the team to foster a culture of learning.

**Qualifications**
- University Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent Data Analytics certification (IIBA-CBDA).
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a track record of successful data driven insights.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across WCLC.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Hands on experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau & Qlik.
- Expert level proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience in dimensional data modelling is considered an asset.
- Data Warehousing experience is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python is considered an asset.
