**Food Service Supervisor**

**Job Duties**
- Keyholder, opening and closing location
- Provides excellent customer service to a large diverse customer base, including high volume time frames throughout the day
- Maintain a professional visual presence in appropriate uniform attire as outlined in the Company Uniform Policy
- Ensures areas are safe, clean and well-organized to meet all customer, client and Company needs
- Ensures accessible services for our customers, and in workplaces for those who are differently abled in compliance with AODA
- Adheres to all Brown’s Fine Food Services Inc. (Brown’s) Policies and Procedures
- Manages procedures to ensure safe food storage, handling and preparation as outlined by Health and Safety Food regulations and procedures as set forth by the Company
- Responsible for counting and maintaining cash floats for all shifts
- May complete food, beverage and catering orders
- Completes day end paperwork, as per company procedures
- Promotes communication; listens, responds to all concerns and encourages employees to forward suggestions for improved workplace procedures
- Supports daily employee shift goals; provides new product information and training of new product use and communicates any operational information that would benefit awareness and productivity
- Documents and records any disciplinary issues and reports all concerns to the Manager
- Provides guidance, direction and assistance as necessary
- Promotes the health and safety standards, policies and procedures developed by Brown’s
- Ensures all employee incidents, accidents and workplace illness are reported to the Manager immediately; completes appropriate forms and provides the employee with the necessary paperwork if there is need for medical attention
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of three (3) years previous front-line food preparation and service experience;
- A minimum one (1) year previous supervisory experience
- Previous experience working with a unionized setting an asset
- Ability to work independently and with a team, meet time targets, with strong organization skills
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Current CPR, First Aid and WHMIS training
- Successful Police Check will be required
