The Distribution Lead position will be responsible for providing leadership and directing the activities for all 3 shifts. This position liaisons with Production, QA, Maintenance, HR and Purchasing. This is a day shift position with some crossover with other shifts.

**KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS***:

- Ensure all outbound shipments are accurately processed in Oracle daily.
- Ensure detailed logs for all shipments are accurately completed daily.
- Ensure all purchase orders for raw material and packaging are accurately processed in Oracle daily.
- Ensure the receiving log is accurately updated in Oracle daily.
- Ensure all production receipts are accurately processed in Oracle daily and quantity validated.
- Create and publish production reversals on a weekly basis.
- Ensure all raw material and packaging is delivered to production in a timely basis ensuring FEFO is followed.
- Ensure temperature are recorded for internal storage locations daily.
- Ensure all pre-operational inspections are completed prior to equipment use and all issues are reported/rectified immediately.
- Oversee labour scheduling including overtime requirements.
- Work overtime when required.
- Create and publish a weekly trailer forecast to ensure our transportation needs are met.
- Verify hours worked by full-time and temporary associates on weekly basis.
- Capture and report KPI’s weekly.
- Participate in the cycle counting process and follow up on discrepancies when required.
- Ensure all safety and food safety guidelines are followed.
- Participate in all audits.
- Ensure all CHEP movements are captured/reported on a week basis.
- Act as lead user for WMS and other distribution related systems.
- Train/Participate/Coordinate site material handling training.
- Schedule all departmental training as required.
- Perform duties assigned to you by your Supervisor/Manager.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Data entry experience preferably in Oracle and Excel
- Oracle experience in a Supply Chain capacity is an asset
- WMS exposure is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP policies and procedures in a food manufacturing facility.
- CHEP Portfolio experience is an asset
- Valid forklift license
- Valid forklift training certificate (will train)
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to lead a Team
- Team player with a prejudice towards Safety
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work overtime as required
