Furlan Bhavsar LLP is located in the heart of Mississauga/Brampton. We are looking for an Associate Lawyer to join our growing law firm. We are located next to the Brampton Courthouse.

We are currently expanding and seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our team We represent clients in Family, Estate, Civil Litigation, Real Estate and/or Criminal Matters. This job is an opportunity for a lawyer to grow their practice and their professional development.

In this role you must be able to work independently and under the direction of our senior lawyers as such, we are willing to provide mentorship and training as needed.

**_Job Responsibilities Include: _**
- Draft / Review documents, including correspondence, pleadings, mediation briefs and affidavits
- Meeting and communication with clients in a professional manner
- Conducting discoveries, mediations, motions
- Ability to handle files from start to finish
- Strong drafting skills as well as writing and research
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Ability to appear in court when required
- Excellent client relations skills
- **Requirements**:_
- **0-3 years experience working as an Associate Lawyer**:

- Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Strong analytical, research and writing skills along with excellent academic credentials.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brampton, ON L6W 4P6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
