**Position Title**:Project Coordinator

**Team and Location**:Parkland Refinery Burnaby, BC

**Salary**: $65,000/annum

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the Engineering Work Requests database for the purpose of screening, reviewing, and approving new projects
- Coordinate Management of Change for simple projects including the pre-startup safety review process
- Transfer PSSR (pre-startup safety review) information from one database to another database during annual maintenance turnarounds
- Coordinate project closeout tasks including submitting add/change/delete documentation for spare parts inventorying
- Coordinate key project meetings such as SRCM studies and Hazops
- Ensure filing of key process safety information in the Engineering Documents Management System (EDMS)
- Act as the Engineering Practices Coordinator for updates/changes to EPs
- Facilitate incident investigations after completing training
- Research and obtain codes and regulations information from the pertinent websites at the direction of Design Engineers or Project Managers
- Update incident investigations and action items in corporate incidents management website
- General clerical duties such as taking meeting minutes and distributing minutes
- Make updates to Technical Projects Team website
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 2 - 5 years of working experience as a Projects Coordinator in an Engineering Firm or Construction Firm setting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software such as MS-Windows, MS-Word, MS-Excel
- Working knowledge of database software such as MS-Access or Power BI or Hexagon SDX or Aconex
- Project Management training or PMP designation is preferred but not required
- Previous experience with Management of Change is preferred but not required
- Expected to work extended hours during annual maintenance shutdowns usually in the late winter or fall of each year
