Burlington, Canada New-Alliance Ltd Full time

As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining an organized and efficient accounts payable department for a busy Civil Construction Company

You will be comfortable working independently with limited supervision in an office with limited staff working on site.

Responsibilities will include:

- Receiving and organizing backup for invoices from field staff
- Matching invoices to backup and purchase orders
- Identifying missing documentation and obtaining copies in a timely manner
- Identifying invoices that require additional review by field staff, communicating with the appropriate parties, and maintaining records of outstanding requests
- Communicating regularly with Director of Finance regarding invoice issues, and / or aging invoices
- Assisting with entering approved invoices into QuickBooks accounting system
- Entering Purchase Order information into QuickBooks
- Reviewing vendor statements on a regular basis to ensure all invoices have been received and communicating with vendor any discrepancies found
- Ensure proper document control
- Maintaining staff expense and credit card receipts, and preparing monthly reconciliation of credit card accounts
- Working closely with Administrative Assistant, sharing duties as needed

Additional Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be fluent in English
- Intermediate skills in Excel, Adobe, Outlook and QuickBooks
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
