**Position Summary**:
Clear Health Solutions invites a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Community Behaviour Consultant. This pivotal role is responsible for the assessment, creation, and implementation of comprehensive, tailored behaviour support plans to aid individuals in reaching their fullest potential. Our consultant will maintain a holistic perspective on health, well-being, and functioning, fostering the development of services for individuals with complex needs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct functional behavioural assessments for children and youth with diverse abilities, their families, care teams, and service providers.
- Design and implement individualized, ABA-based intervention programs for children, including those with behavioural challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), or other developmental disabilities.
- Provide direct support for the execution of behaviour support plans in various settings such as family homes, schools, and community programs.
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of ABA-based intervention programs, ensuring continuous progress.
- Train and guide behavioural support workers, parents, and other related parties in implementing and maintaining behaviour support plans.
- Supervise team meetings in family homes and participate in professional clinical meetings.
- Design and manage data collection protocols, interpreting data for informed decision-making regarding individual programs.
- Generate creative and resourceful solutions for diverse situations while embodying a person-centered practice approach.
- Promote collaborative and team-based methods in service delivery decisions.
- Travel as necessary to meet with potential clients and provide on-site consultations.
**Roles & Expectations**:
- Perform comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments.
- Conduct client in-person observations and detailed documentation.
- Develop individualized Behaviour Support Plans (BSP) and Safety Plans.
- Train in-home support workers in the implementation of BSP.
- Deliver professional reports and presentations.
- Model and train others in effective behavioural intervention techniques.
**Education, Training & Experience Requirements**:
- Academic background in social work, psychology, education, nursing, registered behavioural technician, or related fields.
- Extensive post-academic experience in therapeutic, educative, rehabilitative, behavioural, or clinical services.
- Possession or willingness to obtain a Functional Behavioural Assessment Certificate.
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Certificate.
- Valid Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check (Valid within 6 months).
- Valid driver's licence.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Behaviour Analysts: 1 year (required)
- primary care and/or community based setting: 1 year (required)
Work Location: In person (Saskatchewan Area)
