La sélection à ce poste requiert une entrevue.

Diriger et guider les employés des fonctions de tri et d’entrepôt pour assurer la manutention correcte des colis, leur routage et le rattrapage des éventuels retards. Diriger le travail et guider les employés. Donner de la formation, du coaching et du mentorat aux employés en place ainsi qu'aux nouveaux. Seconder le directeur de succursale, si nécessaire, dans ses tâches administratives et opérationnelles. Donner l’exemple aux employés horaires en devenant un mentor et en faisant figure de modèle de comportement notamment dans la communication, la résolution de conflit et le leadership (en appliquant les meilleures pratiques).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

High school diploma/equivalent

One (1) year previous FedEx experience required

Experience in a HUB environment preferred

Must possess a valid drivers licence and have a good driving record

Must be able to successfully complete Forklift, Hog, Tug and other lift equipment certification as required.

Ability to lift 70 lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment

Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training (including completing and maintaining DG certification)

Good understanding of FedEx products, features of service, general operations.

Knowledge of Canadian Customs Regulation an asset.

Good understanding of operation and trouble shooting of Trackers, ring scanners, printers and other equipment

Demonstrated proficiency in basic level MS Word, Excel

Compass, FAMIS, and IMS preferred

Excellent human relations and communication skills.

Good analytical, problem solving, prioritization and organizational skills

Excellent time management skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle stress and work in a self managed environment

COMPÉTENCES ET APTITUDES REQUISES

Diplôme d'études secondaires ou l'équivalent.

Un (1) an d'expérience chez FedEx.

Expérience d'un centre de tri souhaitable.

Permis de conduire en règle et bon dossier de conducteur.

Réussir les formations de chariots élévateurs à fourche, de tracteurs et des autres équipements de levage.

Capacité de soulever des charges de 70 lb et de manoeuvrer, avec l'aide d'un appareil approprié, des colis pesant jusqu'à 150 lb.

Réussir la formation de base et la formation périodique (y compris l'obtention et le maintien d'un certificat de matières dangereuses).

Il est souhaitable de bien comprendre les services de FedEx, leurs modalités et le fonctionnement général de l'entreprise.

Connaissance des règlements de douane canadiens souhaitable.

Bonne compréhension du fonctionnement et du dépannage des trackers, des bagues-scanners, des imprimantes et des autres équipements.

Avoir démontré sa maîtrise élémentaire de MS Word et Excel.

Compass, FAMIS et IMS un atout.

Excellentes aptitudes aux relations humaines et à la communication.

Bien maîtriser l'analyse, la résolution de problème, les priorités et l'organisation.

Excellente maîtrise de la gestion du temps.

Capacité démontrée de surmonter le stress et de travailler de façon autonome.
