Painter/decorator

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as needed.
- Restore and maintain existing painted surfaces to enhance appearance and durability.
- Execute industrial painting tasks with precision in various settings including construction sites.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and gaps for a polished finish.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in residential painting is required; experience in industrial or construction painting is a plus.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe handling of materials at heights is beneficial.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively for accurate project implementation.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Contract length: 48 months

Pay: $21.83-$22.39 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
