We pride ourselves on the "Integrity Advantage": maximizing value, efficiency, and cooperation through our extensive experience, innovative practices, and unwavering integrity. **Position Summary** As a junior joint venture analyst, your job will be to conduct joint venture audits in the Canadian energy sector and also assist with joint venture accounting and analysis. This is a highly analytical role, which requires strong Excel, data, and critical thinking skills. Attention to detail, work ethic, and trainability are also key skills, along with strong interpersonal skills. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our clients' joint venture operations, directly contributing to their financial integrity and success. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct comprehensive expenditure audits (both capital and operating expenses). - Identify and report on control weaknesses and instances of non-compliance with contractual agreements. - Provide independent and actionable recommendations for improving internal controls and operational processes. - Verify that expenses are accurately recorded in accordance with governing agreements (e.g., PJVA, CAPL). - Thoroughly document all audit findings, prepare comprehensive working paper files, and clearly communicate audit results and recommendations to stakeholders. - Manage your tasks effectively to ensure all scope items are completed on schedule and within budget. **Requirements, Skills and Qualifications** - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Exceptional analytical skills and a keen attention to detail. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex findings to diverse audiences. - Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - A collaborative team player with a commitment to achieving collective goals. - Strong customer service and sales skills would be an asset but not required. **What We Offer** - **Competitive Compensation**: We offer a competitive salary or contract rate commensurate with your experience. - **Professional Growth**: Join a team of experienced professionals and gain exposure to a wide range of projects with leading energy companies. - **Supportive Team Culture**: Be part of a company that values integrity, collaboration, and excellence. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking to advance your career, we encourage you to apply.
