As a Hydraulic Technican you would be required to:

- Disassemble Hydraulic Cylinders of all types (single acting, multi stage, teloscopic, etc.)
- Document required seals and measure piston, tube, gland sizes (or as required)
- Maintain a log of disassembled parts
- Re assemble hydraulic cylinders and test as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery;
- Clean and maintain work space;
- Preparation of drawings for new parts and modification of old drawing for subsequent machining, use of formulas to calculate measurement uncertainty;
- Use different verification equipment including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, sizing blocks and/or gauges;
- Calculate measurement uncertainty, calibrate measuring instruments for correct verification, utilize knowledge of influence quantities and error propagation;
- Comply with current AS9100 standards;

- Report directly to production supervisor, or as assigned.

**Required work experience**:

- Minimum 3 of experience as a Hydraulic Technician
- Experience with testing equipment
- Knowledge of how cylinders function
- Knowledge of materials
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings and use calibrated instruments

**Technical Competencies**:

- 3 year hydraulic repair experience
- Knowledge of AS9100 standards
- Proven ability to read / interpret blueprints
- Proven experience using mechanical inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, height and thickness gauges
