As the Manager of CA Finance Operations (AP), you will oversee a subset of the Accounts Payable, Accounting, and Accounts Receivable functions, focusing on Canadian operations. You will manage team members, and play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity, process efficiency, and stakeholder alignment.

**What You'll Do**:
**Manage the Day-to-Day Payables Function**:

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of experienced payables coordinators and specialists with a long-term growth mindset.
- Oversee timely month-end close processes, including activity review, coding, vendor reconciliations, invoice accruals, and statement reconciliations.
- Review and issue payments for intercompany invoices, collaborating with accounting and global teams for timely resolutions.

**Drive Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify and implement solutions for complex financial and operational challenges, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Optimize payables processes using innovative tools and methods while improving internal controls.
- Challenge processes and policies to ensure financial integrity and operational excellence.

**Lead Strategic Initiatives and Collaborations**:

- Act as the business partner between Accounts Payable, Finance, and the business (RTE and Mealkits), providing escalation support and driving resolution of process bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with North American and Global AP teams to implement SOPs, share best practices, and align on KPIs and OKRs.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure seamless process flow and alignment on metrics and performance.

**Enhance Financial Controls and Reporting**:

- Develop, analyze, and act on OKRs and KPIs to identify team performance, workflow bottlenecks, and make payment runs and cashflow optimization opportunities.
- Review and approve AP payments, banking information changes, and VIP vendor trackers.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for external, internal, and CRA audits.

**Support Business Growth and Training**:

- Provide training to non-financial stakeholders on key processes such as expense reporting, corporate credit cards, and Oracle workflows.
- Lead and support special projects and ad-hoc reporting to drive long-term financial growth.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of financial operations experience in a high-volume AP/AR environment.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Ability to work across global time zones,
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and a drive to improve and build processes.
- Experience managing diverse teams and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in e-commerce, especially within supply chain operations.
- Track record of providing strategic advice to senior leaders and driving results.
- Expertise with ERP systems; Oracle Cloud Fusion knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, Access, SQL, and ETL.
- A passion for innovation and process improvement within financial operations.
