CNC & Equipment Operator

Barrie, Canada Norcab Kitchen & Millwork Inc. Full time

We're growing again and currently seeking an experienced CNC & woodworking machine operator to join our team. The desired applicant will have **at least 6 months** of direct CNC operation experience. This position will also be required to utilize a forklift to receive, pick and stage material.

**Core Position Functions**:

- Setup, maintain and operate a 3 axis CNC machine.
- Setup and operate edge banding machine and other woodworking equipment.
- Receive, organize and store material with a forklift.
- Organize and clean machining area.

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Minimum of 6 months of direct experience in CNC operation.
- Basic experience with typical wood working equipment.
- Basic experience with forklift operation.

**Other Requirements**:

- Able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
- Able to work safely and adhere to PPE requirements.
- Attention to detail & quality control.

**Reporting Arrangement**:

- This position will report directly to our production manager.

Wage will be based on experience.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barrie, ON L4N8Y9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Woodworking Equipment Operation: 1 year (preferred)
