**POSITION DESCRIPTION - ARTS WHISTLER - CASUAL FRONT OF HOUSE & BOX OFFICE ASSISTANT**

We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented casual Front of House & Box Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional customer service, deliver box office and retail sales service, and help ensure smooth front-of-house operations during events. Responsibilities include:

- Greeting and assisting customers upon arrival
- Managing ticket sales, and guestlist
- Providing support with box office operations, including using software including Showpass, Lightspeed, Zeffy, and Event Temple
- Assisting with customer inquiries, ticketing issues, and general event information
- Assisting customers with retail sales from Arthentic artisan shop
- Handling payments, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring the front of house area is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Liaising with third
- party clients and assisting with room set ups as required.
- Briefing event volunteers with event duty manager.
- Working evening shifts as required for events.

**This position reports directly to**:Venue Manager.

**Hours of work**:Casual, as needed.

**Compensation**: $24 per/hr

Pay: $24.00 per hour
