The South Fish Creek Recreation Association (SFCRA) is a not-for-profit organization which manages SFCRA and its restaurant, as well as managing the complex that operates as CardelRec South. We are proud to offer our patrons four (4) ice arenas, (2) gymnasiums, (9) multi-purpose rental/program rooms, a restaurant and a variety of recreation programs. In addition, we have numerous tenants whose services complement our mandate.

We take pride in being an equal partner in the delivery of services and operations with in the CardelRec Complex; a busy multi-partner recreation facility, education and library complex located under one roof in the Shawnessy Towne Centre.

The SFCRA is seeking dynamic team player to fulfill the roll of Document Control-Business Student. This role designated to work out of the Cardel Rec office Monday to Friday.

**Specific accountabilities will include**:

- Organize, sort and create a digital inventory of facility design plans
- Document control, including filing and organizing accounting and facility documents.
- Organize and clean up digital filing systems
- Provide support for annual accounting external Audit
- Document, update and reconciling all Capital assets in the building
- Support of recurring operations tasks such as resolving customer deposits & daily cash settlements
- Running and updating reports
- Reconciliations (bank, suppliers, GST, etc)
- Ad hoc projects based on management needs

**Qualifications required**:

- Between the ages of 15 - 30
- 1st to 2rd year student who is currently enrolled in a Business or Accounting program at a Canadian Post-Secondary Institution
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Working knowledge of cloud based accounting systems in an asset
- Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Safety conscious
- Clean Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector
- Standard First Aid would be considered an asset
- Ability to read, write, and professionally communicate with public and co-workers.

Contract length: 14-16 weeks

Pay: $19.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
