**Position Title**: Category Manager (Made at Centennial)
**Location**: Western Canada

**Job Type**: Full Time Permanent
**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director(s) of Sales or designate, the Category Manager (Made at Centennial) will be accountable for the overall growth of the Made at Centennial product line. This will be achieved through leading the Branch sales team in driving growth in the Made at Centennial product line sales targeted at margin levels.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Continuous training and updating Sales Representatives regarding Made at Centennial products and new product launches.
- Work with and co-ordinate with key suppliers and branch butchershops to understand business cycles and availability.
- Regular presentations at branch Sales meetings.
- Work with Sales Representatives to make sales presentations to customers.
- Promote Made at Centennial products/portion programs with sales representatives and their customers.
- Work alongside procurement team managing inventory levels.
- Assist Business Development representatives and meet with their customers.
- Assist Retail Sales representatives and co-ordinate with the Director of Retail Sales.
- Lead change and be a Made at Centennial Champion.
- Work with all sales channels (Food Service, Retail, Business Development).
- Develop and provide reports on Made at Centennial product sales for all sales channels.
- Work closely with the sales leadership team across the business.
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply chain management, or a related field, or a combination of work experience and education will be considered.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and food safety standards (CFIA, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge and be passionate about Food and Protein
- Strong leadership, teaching/coaching and organization skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel/PowerPoint considered an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues and staff
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) in protein industry.
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) of progressive sales experience.
- Ability and willingness for regular travel.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
