We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. Two or more years experience is required. Your work will contribute to the overall success and quality of our construction projects. Must be able to work independently. A valid Drivers License and a vehicle are required. This position is for Peterborough, ON location as well as Brooklin, ON location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine project specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood materials according to project requirements
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, stairs, and molding
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

**Skills**:

- Proficient in using and understanding tools
- Knowledge of different types of siding materials and installation methods
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Peterborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
