Brandt is currently looking to fill an Inventory Systems Analyst position in our Regina, SK location.

Reporting to the Director of Planning, the Inventory Systems Analyst is responsible for providing information and analytics within and outside of Supply Chain, including areas such as Purchasing, Supply Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Traffic, and Operations Management to improve inventory accuracy, productivity, and flow of goods. This position will provide analytical, operational, and supply chain systems support for Supply Chain Management as well as each of the Brandt Industries manufacturing facilities. This position will act as a central hub that will setup and communicate standard inventory management practices across all manufacturing facilities and work collaboratively with operational departments to ensure inventory and materials strategies are optimized.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ** **Development and adherence to standard inventory management practices among manufacturing operations.
- Work with purchasing and Supply Planning to setup and audit required fields in item data that effect MPS inventory flow and productivity (ie. lead time, order interval, order multiple, MOQ).
- Develop tools and approaches for analysis and review of supply plans, including the generation and transformation of data from MRP / Planning systems into actionable information
- Work with Supply Planners, Ops Managers, IMMs and other applicable manufacturing departments to evaluate sales and MPS to establish and monitor safety stock logic for select inventory items as well as ensure PIT demand is triggered in a timely manner when inventory levels fall below minimum.
- Review safety stock items regularly and, working closely with Supply Planning, refresh the list as required.
- Identify slow-moving inventory and recommend actions in consultation with Supply Planning, Ops, Sales and Engineering management.
- Facilitate proper disposition of material when Engineering changes occur. This role will be a permanent member of the change review board (CRB).
- In conjunction with the CRB, facilitate proper disposition of end of life/model change.
- Manage non-current Wholegoods and part numbers as well as obsolescence due to end of life or discontinuation.
- Ensure minimum order quantities (MOQs) are accurate.
- Create and track inventory performance indicators like inventory turns (or days of supply) and support Supply Planning Mgrs/IMMs with tools to manage inventory accuracy, dock to stock times, etc.
- Facilitate the creation of material plans for MPS items in conjunction with Supply Planning.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in PowerBI, SQL, or other large data mining tools, and MS Office tools especially EXCEL.

Required Experience
- At least 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Engineering, Business (MBA or CPA advantageous) or professional training in SCMP or CPIM.
- Experience working with a variety of inventory management practices and principles (Min/Max, Kanban, Safety Stock, Lead Time, Kitting, etc.).
- Experience in MRP systems
