We are currently hiring for a **Relief Full Time Clinical Leader, Project & Change Management**to join ourteam at **New Surrey Hospital & BC Cancer Center (NSBCCC)**located in **Surrey, B.C.**

The **New Surrey Hospital and BC Cancer Centre**is a landmark project. Located on a greenfield site, this project will be the first net new hospital in BC in nearly 20 years. If you are passionate about leadership, innovation and project management, we want you to bring your outstanding skills to our team.

The project is complex and involves the integration of a community hospital with a regional cancer centre under one roof. The project will be constructed in a single phase and is anticipated to complete in late 2029. This future focused hospital promises to be progressive not only in its clinical care delivery but also in its infrastructure design. When complete, the new facility will feature key acute care services including virtual health, inpatient, outpatient, emergency and surgical services integrated with a cancer centre focused on cancer care, treatment, research and education.

**Position Highlights**

Are you passionate about leadership, program planning and establishing excellence in the clinical field? If so, bring your operational knowledge of inpatient and outpatient clinical services to this senior Leader role. As a leader, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of clinical project deliverables which incorporate new service and care delivery models and programs which are well-defined, operationally feasible, appropriately resourced and effectively implemented. As an advocate for clinical operations, you will also liaise with clinical operations professionals in the development of the functional clinical space.

- Ensure project objectives are accomplished through effective clinical project planning, integration, implementation, management, and commissioning transition initiatives.
- Lead and plan the process for the development of all clinical and clinical service delivery plans to identify current and future program service requirements. Work closely with clinical and operations teams including physicians, clinical leaders and other health care providers to identify and plan program and service requirements and to review and integrate service delivery models, clinical standards and operational guidelines for each of the assigned clinical services.
- Provide direction on the development of integrated project charters, schedules and work plans to ensure successful implementation.
- Own the process for developing, confirming and delivering the clinical specifications; ensures integration of clinical planning and decision-making with the equipment and IM/IT planning components of the project.
- Negotiate and facilitate consensus with key partners such as Integrated Redevelopment Operations Committee (IROC), FH leadership, Project leaders, contractors, and vendors.
- Prepare recommendations on clinical services/program structure and resources required for approval; develops status reports, scope changes or decision requests as required.
- Provides overall leadership, direction and supervision to assigned team members using effective management and leadership techniques including coaching, mentoring, skill and leadership development, performance management and team building
- Lead development, maintenance and distribution of reports in relation to project management controls
- Build strong relationships with the team, vendors, stakeholders, & ensure the delivery of effective, client-focused services

**We will be looking for you to have the following**:

- ** Recent experience in the peri-operative program.**:

- Master’s degree in a health related discipline.
- Seven (7) years recent related experience in dynamically more complex management roles in a clinical related area,
- Five (5) years recent operational experience in health care project planning/development with a focus on acute care service planning, integration and/or redesign
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

**This Relief Full Time opportunity will be based out of our project site office at 18050 James Hill Drive in Surrey, BC.**
