**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and rolls, according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations to meet health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Stay updated on current trends in sushi preparation and presentation techniques to enhance menu offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests when necessary, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, food handling techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent meal preparation skills with attention to detail in presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and willingness to learn new techniques related to sushi preparation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Mandarin (preferred)
