**About the Role**:
The **IT Support Specialist** is a vital role within the business technology team, responsible for managing system updates, maintaining the restaurant system stack, providing Level 1 IT support, and overseeing data entry activities. This role ensures the seamless operation of our system stacks, facilitates smooth data management across various platforms, and assists with troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues across hospitality outlets.

As the first point of contact for technical support, the IT Support Specialist will address basic IT concerns, conduct user onboarding, and escalate more complex issues to our IT vendors. Additionally, the role includes managing and updating leasing data, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting operational reporting needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Restaurant Systems Modifications & Updates**
- Configure and update the POS, Inventory & HR system for changes such as menu changes, pricing adjustments, promotions, and discounts.
- Ensure smooth integration between all Restaurant system platforms, such as POS and Inventory Management.
- Test updates in a staging environment to identify and resolve any functionality issues.
- Provide user training for staff on new restaurant system features and workflows.
- Work with all our vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system updates, configurations, and procedures.

**Level 1 Support**
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues related to all restaurant software and internal systems.
- Troubleshoot common problems such as network connectivity issues, printer malfunctions, and system errors.
- Provide technical onboarding for new staff, including account setup, access to systems, and device provisioning.
- Reset passwords, assist with user account access, and guide staff through simple technical fixes.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 support or external vendors as needed.
- Log all support requests and resolutions in a ticketing or helpdesk system for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Develop and distribute user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting checklists.

**Data Entry**
- Perform general data entry for various operational areas, such as inventory updates, sales records, guest transactions, vendor orders, lease records.
- Validate and cross-check data entries to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Uphold confidentiality and security standards for sensitive business, financial, and guest information.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Diploma or degree in IT, business administration, or a related field.
- IT Skills: Basic troubleshooting for software, hardware, and network issues; onboarding and training new users.
- Data Accuracy: Strong attention to detail for data entry.
- Training and Onboarding: Ability to effectively onboard new staff and provide system training to ensure smooth transitions.
- Time Management: Capacity to prioritize tasks, especially during high-pressure situations like peak operational periods.
- Communication: Clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Ticketing System: Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management is a plus.
