**OBJECTIVE**:
The DC Manager - Receiving and Inventory Control - will be accountable for all inventory movement from receiving to put away. Along with his team, the incumbent must assure a rapid and steady flow of product from receiving to put away along with the proper system transactions to assure inventory accuracy in terms of quantity, status and location. As our business is highly seasonal, the DC Manager - Receiving and Inventory Control - will be responsible to work with the Import Director and the Canadian Production Director to properly plan the workload and adjust the workforce requirement accordingly.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Forecast activity level with both Import and manufacturing department
- Work with HR to assure the proper staffing needed to meet the volume of activity (highly seasonal operation)
- Assure the conversion operation of Flat Pack to GOH including the planification and coordination of external 3PLs
- Coordinate receiving of Asian flat pack with inbound traffic to assure proper flow and sorting at our facility
- Coordinate with the Traffic department inflow of product from Bulgaria
- Coordinating with Production Department Inflow of Local Manufacturing
- Coordinating with Accounts Payable and Finance Department Three Way Matching of receiving
- Coordinate with facility manager movement of good between our facilities and our 3PLs
- Manage 3PL relationship (giving work, following up, quality, invoice approval, etc.)
- Receiving of both GOH and Flat Pack in D365 (ERP system)
- Coordinate movement of garment between warehouse and QC bases on Qc capacity and business priorities
- Assure proper staging of goods when QC department is unable to follow the flow of receiving
- Put away garment following QC inspection based on QC disposition (Release, Seconds, Hold, Etc)
- Assure all inventory transaction are properly performed in terms of quantity, lot status and location
- Inventory accuracy at all times including cycle count program execution and global physical inventory count (if needed)
- Assure the physical handling of returns upon receiving up to their transfer to the return’s department
- Assure all movement of inventory within the DC including reorganization of style slotting after each season
- Coordinate all value-added activity to correct any inventory problem (retagging, hanger change, etc.)
- Ability to manage and improve key performance indicators under his control - Lead Time, Inventory Accuracy, etc.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Operation Management or equivalent (pertinent experience to be considered)
- 5 years of experience managing shop floor operation and guiding/managing front line employees
- Computer system skills and interest - Microsoft Suite, ERP system (Dynamics 365 a plus)
- Structured and organized
- Team worker able to work across boundaries (with other departments)
- Bilingual a plus (French, English)
- Experience in process optimization a plus
