**How you will contribute to the team**:
- Conduct analysis of proposal requests to understand client requirements, as well as understand strategy and content requirements.
- Prepare project management schedules and communication plans to meet critical milestones by managing kick-off and check-in meetings and preparing/updating responsibility matrices as required.
- Select appropriate templates and prepare frameworks based on project and client requirements.
- Maintain ownership of master documents throughout proposal development process.
- Search or create additional content to substantiate story.
- Edit and review proposals for single voice submission.
- Recommend illustrative elements (if/when required) to support the story.
- Format proposals for final submission.
- Identify and track new content for content library, as well as provide support.
- Provide support in the development of new proposal tools (such as templates, technology, and process implementation).
- Liaise with marketing to ensure all proposal documentation aligns with corporate branding.
- Utilize existing tools to support tracking and data analysis.
- Serve as backup support for our project/time management system, Ajera (for example with proposal set ups, follow ups, and updates).
- Provide support for proposal follow ups when required.
- Provide backup support for proposal website tracking.
- Provide support to maintain proposal and project files.
**What you bring**:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, or combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years related proposal experience.
- Prior work experience within a professional services firm considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to adapt content to different target audiences.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity and understanding of proposal development process.
- Proficiency working in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically with InDesign.
