Human Resource Generalist

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Human Resource Generalist** to join our growing auto franchise company. The primary focus of this role will be **recruiting and developing leaders and technicians** for our corporate collision centers. The HR Generalist will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, leadership development, and fostering a positive work culture. **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Recruitment and Talent Acquisition**:
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies for attracting top talent, particularly for leadership and technician roles within our corporate collision centres.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand the unique needs of each position and ensure timely and effective recruitment.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Build relationships with local schools, trade programs, and industry associations to create a talent pipeline.
- **Leadership and Technician Development**:
- Create and oversee programs focused on the development of emerging leaders and skilled technicians within the organization.
- Facilitate internal training and development workshops aimed at leadership, technical skills, and career progression.
- Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to employee growth, development, and retention.
**Employee Relations and Retention**:
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Address employee concerns, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts as necessary.
- Assist in developing strategies to retain high-performing employees, especially skilled technicians and leaders.
- Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict, and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Support employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retain talent.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
**Performance Management**:
- Support managers with performance appraisals, coaching, and feedback to drive employee performance and development.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of improvement plans and career development pathways for employees.
**Compliance and Policy Management**:
- Ensure company compliance with all local, provincial, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records related to employee documentation, benefits, and compensation.
- Support the creation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- **Workforce Planning**:
- Assist in forecasting staffing needs for corporate collision centers.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure the team is adequately staffed to meet current and future business demands.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent development.
- Experience in the automotive or collision repair industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with HRIS systems and recruitment platforms.
- Familiarity with leadership development programs.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
