**Ulterra’s Leduc facility has immediate openings for Shop Technicians**

This is an opportunity to join a great team and play an important role in our rapidly growing, state-of-the-art company. By building our reputation purely through performance, our steel and matrix PDC bits along with our DHT group are producing serious results in the North American market and increasingly around the world.

Position Responsibilities:

- Preparing drill bit pockets for cutters
- Placement of cutters
- Cleaning bit body with hand grinder
- Inspecting quality of bit exterior Machine grinding
- General Labour
- Assisting brazers
- Painting

Position Qualifications:

- Prior Drill Bit experience is an asset, but not required.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Welding experience is an asset.
- Reliable, accountable and dependable.
- Must have strong communication skills and be eager to learn.
- Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team.
- **Must be able to successfully pass an alcohol and drug screen; as well as an occupational fit test.**:

- Those with previous bit manufacturing experience will be considered first.

- Leduc, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Drill Bit Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
