**ABOUT OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM**:
Our **3 month program** is an opportunity for students enrolled in a post-secondary education program to gain hands-on experience in the live event technology industry. This is a paid internship with a 32 hour a week schedule. Interns will work a hybrid schedule from one of our physical locations (Dallas or Montreal).
The program is set to start on
**January 6, 2025 **and end on **March 28, 2025**. As with all of our new hires, we look for motivated people who exemplify our core values to join our team.
As a Leap Event Technology intern, you will:
- Take part in our mentorship program: Be paired with an experienced member of our team
- Participate in weekly intern cohort activities and events (social, team building, training)
- Connect with Senior Leadership: One-on-one conversation with your department head and a Q&A session with our CEO
- Have access to Udemy Business: a world-class learning and development
platform offering over 14,000 training courses
- Set goals: Work with your manager to determine what you want to accomplish during the program and receive feedback on your performance
**AS A PRODUCT MANAGER INTERN, YOU WILL**:
- Assisting in translating requests into product specifications, collaborating with Design and Engineering teams to create scalable solutions.
- Learning to write clear product specs that outline problems, user stories, business reasons, and requirements for desired solutions.
- Supporting the team by responding to questions about the specs and updating them as needed.
- Helping convert product specs into JIRA tickets and tracking features through their lifecycle.
- Writing basic documentation for features when necessary.
- Reviewing product features against specifications and working with the team to resolve any discrepancies.
- Measuring impact and gathering user feedback to help iterate on solutions.
- Learning to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, sales teams, developers, and designers.
- Collaborating with customer-facing teams and other Product Managers to understand customer needs and help shape the product roadmap.
**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS**:
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science).
- Interest in product management and mobile app development.
- Strong analytical skills with a willingness to learn how to track outcomes and inform decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and a problem-solving mindset.
- Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the field of product management.
