- Santai Science Inc. is actively seeking a highly motivated chemist working as a Technical Sales Specialist and Business Development actvities to join our team in the Toronto area. This pivotal role is geared towards driving lab technical support and sales and market expansion for our diverse flash chromatography product range, which includes innovative technologies and consumables in the field of organic and medicinal chemisytry, life sciences and purification chromatography chemistry._
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- _Achieve lab support, demonstration and meet sales targets in the designated territories, starting with Toronto region._
- _Foster and maintain customer satisfaction within the installed base._
- _Energetically identify and develop new prospects, while strategically penetrating key driven accounts._
- _Conduct regular customer visits to support and promote Santai Science solutions and assist with their technical lab chemistry challenges._
- _Organize and lead seminars, workshops, and product demonstrations at customer sites and regional events._
- _Spearhead the consumables business within assigned accounts and actively work to expand the business footprint in the territory._
- _Formulate and execute a detailed business plan to enhance business growth within existing accounts and to secure new business through competitive conversions._
- _Collaboratively work with Santai Science’s matrix organization for strategic planning and growth of the consumables business within our customer base._
- **Qualifications**:_
- _Bachelor’s M.Sc. or PhD in a organic or medicinal chemistry or biochemistry._
- _Minimum 1-3 years of experience in purificatio chromatography, with a preference for lab and /or process purification and technical field sales support, service, and/or technical sales experience._
- _Action-oriented, with a strong commitment to achieving customer's satisfaction and sales results._
- _Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills._
- _Proficient in organization, planning, and time management._
- _Skilled listener with strong analytical abilities._
- _Positive attitude, mature disposition, and a dedicated work ethic._
- _Ability to adapt to a dynamic and rapid changing environment._
- _Solid technical background in chemistry._
- _Bilingualism is an asset, with strong written and oral skills in English. _
