We are currently recruiting for a full-time **Project Controls** role, located at our **Shell Scotford, Fort Saskatchewan** site. This position will be responsible for working closely with and providing support to Project Managers; ensuring that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes are planned accordingly to meet the needs of the Company and the client.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop baselines for budgets and schedules and forecast resource requirements;
- Manage cost control, performance measurement, and change management processes;
- Implement and ensure accurate performance measurements and prepare project reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis;
- Analyze and submit reports to the client and management;
- Provide input to proposal preparation and project estimate submissions;
- Create and send FCNs (Field Change Notices) to the client;
- Business controls documentation, coordination and support activities used to manage day-to-day business and client audits;
- Participate in development activities for continual improvement in the project control system & services;
- Ensure compliance with Company and customer policies and procedures;
- Provide leadership and education in zero-incident safety culture and safe work practices;
- Track and maintain value initiatives for clients;
- Create or assist with high level scheduling;
- Review timesheets on site;
- Provide business analysis to Management team as needed;
- Provide leadership and guidance to administrative team;
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

**Requirements**:

- 5 years related experience, preferably in an industrial setting;
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset;
- **Experience with Power BI or Power Pivot required;**:

- **Experience creating, maintaining and modifying reports is required;**:

- Previous experience in estimating and forecasting is considered an asset;
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Strong time management and organization skills in order to meet various competing deadlines;
- Ability to self-motivate;
- Ability to work within a team and build a positive team environment;
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing work environment with competing demands;
- Ability to display sound and accurate judgement with the ability to resolve problems in a timely manner
