Veterinary Assistant/receptionist

Maple, Canada Vaughan Veterinary Clinic Full time

We provide preventative care (vaccines, preventatives), procedures (sterilization, dentistry, lumpectomies) and medical services (bloodwork, X-Rays) to felines and canines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be knowledgeable about the facility, services, fees, and medications.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the clinic (sweeping, mopping, organizing, dusting, paperwork).
- Sanitize/ clean instruments and desk.
- Help with ordering supplies (order on time, bring boxes to the front and unpack supplies).
- Help with the set up of anesthetic procedures (sterilization, dentistry, lumpectomies), anesthesia, bloodwork, vaccines, etc.
- Monitor patients during anesthetic procedures (breathing, SPO2, heartrate, etc.) and during recovery from anesthetic/ sedative procedures.
- Hold felines and canines during routine appointments (vaccines, check-ups) and during bloodwork, sedation, etc

**Job Type**: Part-time

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
