**What this Job Entails**:
Laundry Attendants are responsible for ensuring all linens used by the hotel and our guests are properly sorted, laundered and readily available for departments as requested. In addition to sorting, wash and folding all linens, small loads laundry attendants monitor chemical levels, wash systems and sequences the Laundry Attendants provide friendly service help to create an exceptional guest experience that drives guest loyalty
- Responsible for ensuring maximum cleanliness of linens, and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Operate washing machines and dryers
- Sort, wash, dry, fold and put away all linens as per hotel standards
- Maintain chemical levels and monitor wash systems and sequences
- Maintain laundry room and equipment in a clean and safe manner
- Check finished linens and articles to ensure highest standard of cleanliness and limit wrinkles
- Remove worn or damaged linen and maintain records to assist with linen inventory tracking
- Deliver guest room supplies to guests or room attendants and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
- Report any damage, maintenance deficiencies or malfunctioning equipment
- Follow hotel procedures for logging and tracking all lost and found items
- Follow all health and safety regulations and report hazards
- Focus on passionate people creating exceptional experiences for our guests
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

- Follow through on daily tasks and key responsibilities, driving a culture of teamwork and fun
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry an asset
- Must be able to move, lift, carry and place objects weighing 30lbs frequently without assistance
- Detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Enjoys a moderate to high level of physical effort, position requires significant walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling
- Frequently lifting and carrying up to 40lbs
- High level of sensory attention: sight and hearing
- Manual dexterity required to use cleaning equipment
- Works with cleaning chemicals and laundry detergents
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
