**Kumi is currently looking for a full-time Material Service Manager to support our Team Monday to Friday**

8:00am - 4:30pm

**Position Summary**
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Material Service department to ensure departmental goals are achieved. This role involves setting targets for continuous improvement while supporting both departmental objectives and the broader production and culture targets of KCC.

**Essential Functions**
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations by efficiently implementing and coordinating KCC procedures and associates.
- Responsible for monitoring and tracking expense and workforce budget.
- Active role in Material Service associate development, recommend areas of opportunity to develop the departments strengths.
- Responsible to oversee all delivery and packaging requirements to all customers.
- All customer concerns will be immediately communicated to Senior Management based on escalation policy.
- Ensure Department audits (KQCD/SEDB) & New Model requirements (NMR) are achieved and improved on where possible.
- Monitor and continue to improve the warehouse management system (WMS) looking for ways to expand and utilize.
- Create and sustain a working warehouse layout that supports Material Service and Production as much as possible.
- Maintain material service performance metrics by monitoring, and appraising job results and overseeing disciplinary actions when required.
- Complete the department metrics and characteristics to ensure the department business plan is executed and meet the KNA business plan.

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
- Post secondary education in Business Management
- 5 years of warehouse management experience in the automotive industry preferably in Plastic Injection Molding
- Previous ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 experience
- Previous experience overseeing multiple departments in a non-unionized facility
- Competent decision-making ability and ability to follow through on concepts
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
