**Position Title: Terminal Operator**

**Team and Location: Parkland Burnaby Terminal - Burnaby, BC**

**Position Summary**:
Working at Parkland’s Burnaby Terminal. This position is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, assembly, and installation of machinery at Terminal facilities and Terminal loading racks. This position will also provide support for driver badging, site orientations, and tank equipment inspections.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The Terminal Operator essential responsibilities include: Provide day-to-day safe, efficient, and environmentally sound equipment maintenance. Monitor, troubleshoot, repair and follow-up on process issues. Complete safety & environmental inspections - report deficiencies.

**Q**ualifications and Skills**:

- A strong commitment towards Safety and Safe Work Practice.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Possesses a curiosity and a desire to learn and grow by doing other job tasks.
- Experience working in the Petroleum Industry is preferred.
- An ability to work as part of a team and support a positive work culture.
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
- A commitment to high performance and a drive to continuously improve.
- Personal accountability and flexibility.
- Must be physically able to work in all Terminal operating areas, including confined spaces, climbing stairs and ladders.
- Able to work after-hours, weekends, and shift work when needed.
- Able to work in an On Call capacity, in a team rotation, once a month on weekends.
- Class 5 Driver License, Clean Abstract.
- Mechanical and technical aptitude and abilities.
- Able to pass a criminal records check.
- Must be able to operate a forklift or man lift.
