Assistant Facilities Manager

The Facilities and Production Coordinator is the front-line support for our entrepreneurs and their teams as the use the kitchen. The role is to both facilitate production, as well as maintain health and safety standards.
Key accountabilities
- Ensure Facility GMP Policy and Venturepark Labs community standards on space usage and access are followed by users of the space.
- Onboard new users, and provide Health and Safety orientation.
- Monitoring Client use of facility, and tracking billable hours
- Monitor and record refrigeration and freezer temperatures
- Check in and check out of rental equipment, linens, and other supplies
- Ensure that client booking requests are fulfilled, and properly accounted for.
- Restock and monitor cleaning supplies, chemicals, and supplies in work areas
- Ensure equipment and work area clean and sanitized according to recognized health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure the removal of kitchen garbage, recycling and composting and take to designated storage location
Prerequisites
Food handler’s certification required, can be completed prior to start
2 years’ experience in a food production facility, Commercial Kitchen, or other regulated manufacturing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
HACCP training, WHIMS Training

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
