**Job Overview**
This position is essential for supporting the overall operation of our restaurant and delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
**Duties**
- Cooking Smashed Bison burgers on the flat top grill.
- Taking customer orders.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring out portions.
- Follow recipes and instructions from chefs to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
