Landscape Construction Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Management**: Lead and manage landscape construction projects from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Coordinate with clients, architects, and design teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and provide direction to landscaping crews, subcontractors, and vendors. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide support to ensure the team works efficiently and adheres to project timelines.
- **Budget and Cost Control**: Develop project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best pricing and materials.
- **Site Management**: Oversee all aspects of the construction site, including material delivery, equipment, and labor. Ensure that work is being performed according to specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- **Client Relations**: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the construction process. Address concerns, provide regular progress updates, and ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect work sites regularly to ensure that the quality of work is consistent with design plans and safety regulations. Perform final inspections to ensure the completed project meets all requirements.
- **Safety Compliance**: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members follow proper safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and materials.
- **Permitting and Regulations**: Ensure all necessary permits are obtained and that the project complies with local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
- **Material and Resource Management**: Oversee the procurement and management of materials, tools, and equipment required for projects. Ensure efficient use of resources to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- **Reporting**: Maintain detailed project records, including budgets, schedules, and reports. Provide regular updates to senior management or clients regarding project status, timelines, and budget adherence.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**: 5+ years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
- **Skills**: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of landscape design, construction methods, and materials. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Expertise in landscape construction, including hardscaping (pavers, retaining walls, water features), softscaping (planting, irrigation), and site grading.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift and move heavy materials, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and operate machinery and equipment.
**Work Environment**: This role requires working in outdoor environments and construction sites. The Landscape Construction Manager must be comfortable with physical work, weather conditions, and occasionally lifting and carrying heavy materials. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to ensure safety on the job site.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
