The Inventory Coordinator will provide support with cost-control procedures and to prevent loss through contamination, expiration and other issues related to produce handling. The general hours of work will be 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday and 7am - 12pm on Saturday in the Milton facility. **This is a 12 month contract with potential to being converted to full-time.**

**Job Duties**
- Organize all paperwork accordingly after gathering them from the warehouse
- Scan receiving paperwork and pass the hard copy to the accounting team
- Confirm accuracy of all entries in the system and add any necessary details
- Respond to product issues and make the necessary corrections in the system
- Keep track of adjustments and communicate with the Inventory Manager
- Verify that shippers scanned the products correctly
- Confirm inventory counts with the Warehouse Manager
- Investigate and resolve product discrepancies
- Enter all orders into the system for the following day
- Monitor and communicate with order desk of any changes to orders
- Update data regularly to ensure accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
- Enter the details of transfers from one warehouse to the other
- Respond to inquiries received from warehouse managers
- Close inventory on a daily and weekly basis free of errors
- Prepare and maintain reports in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Assist with special projects (regularly updating applicable SOPs, etc.) Other duties relevant to the position will be assigned as required

**Qualifications**
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in inventory management
- University degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate-to-advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
