**we are looking for full time, part time and casual Care Aides We hire BC Registered Caregivers.**

Flexible hours based on availability. We do require a minimum of 20-hours of availability per week.

**As a Tomoda Healthcare Solutions Inc., you receive**:

- 24/7 assistance related to your client’s care
- Flexible Schedules (Part-Time & Full-Time)
- One-on-one care: Work directly with the client to provide the best care possible
- On-boarding and training: eLearning, Shadow Shifts, mentoring

**Responsibilities and Duties of HCA**
- . Carries out all routines and procedures to maintain a clean, safe and pleasant environment for the residents and co-workers.
- Complies with the facility policies and procedures pertaining to the care of the residents.
- Assists residents as necessary with Activities of Daily Living including bathing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting and dressing.
- Ensures residents of safe mobility ,as necessary.
- Tends to laundry, housekeeping and food service duties as required and time permits.
- Participates in group activities as time from giving care allows.
- Provides residents with gentle, respectful, safe care at all times.
- Builds trusting relationships with the residents.
- Works together with other members of the team in a respectful, co-operative way.
- Attends staff meetings and education and training programs as required.

11. Reports any concerns or observations accurately on the resident’s health record and to co-workers.
- Follows individual resident care plans. Needs to be aware of any residents with food allergies or sensitivities.

**Requirements**:

- Previous caregiving experience is preferred
- Being a BC Registered HCA is an asset
- Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening Sector (less than 1 year old)
- Negative TB Skin Test or Chest X Ray (less than 2 years old)
- Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset
- First Aid & CPR

**Availability**:

- Give us your availability, and we can work out a schedule that works for you

Pay: $25-$30.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

**Experience**:

- Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- BC Care Aide Registry Number (preferred)

Work Location: In person
