**About the Role**:
As a **Business Development Manager**, you will play a key role in driving business expansion across **Alberta**, identifying **new opportunities for growth** while strengthening **existing client relationships**. Reporting to the **National Sales Manager**, you will focus on **sales strategy, client retention, and revenue generation** to ensure BELFOR remains a leader in the **restoration industry**.
This role requires a **proactive, strategic mindset** and a **deep understanding of sales, business development, and market trends**—especially in the **restoration, construction, or insurance industries**.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Sales & Business Development**
- Identify **new business opportunities** and build strong relationships with potential clients.
- Maintain and **grow existing client accounts**, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct **cold calls, client meetings, and networking events** to expand the BELFOR client base.
- Develop and execute a **sales strategy** to drive revenue and achieve targets.
- Complete **Requests for Proposals/Quotes (RFP/RFQ)** for new and existing clients.
- ** Strategic Market Analysis & Competitive Research**
- Conduct **market research** to identify **industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive insights**.
- Develop proposals for **new initiatives, partnerships, and service enhancements** based on data-driven analysis.
- Provide recommendations for **expanding service offerings** and optimizing revenue streams.
- ** Client Engagement & Customer Relations**
- Serve as a trusted **advisor to clients**, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality restoration solutions.
- Conduct **regular follow-ups and check-ins** to maintain positive client relationships.
- Address client concerns and **develop customized solutions** for their business needs.
- ** Collaboration & Team Leadership**
- Work closely with **Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams** to align business strategies.
- Participate in **team meetings and corporate planning** to ensure growth initiatives align with BELFOR’s objectives.
- Contribute to a **high-performance sales culture**, mentoring and motivating others.
- ** Brand & Community Representation**
- Represent BELFOR at **industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events**.
- Promote the company’s brand and **enhance visibility in the restoration and insurance markets**.
**Qualifications**:
- ** 3+ years** of **sales, business development, or account management** experience (preferably in **construction, restoration, or insurance**).
- Proven track record of **success in B2B sales, client relationship management, and revenue generation**.
- Strong **negotiation, presentation, and persuasion skills** with the ability to **close deals**.
- Excellent **research and strategic analysis skills** to identify market opportunities.
- ** Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented** with a passion for business growth.
- ** Post-secondary education** in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
- ** Tech-savvy** - Experience with **CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Google Suite, and industry-specific software**.
- ** Valid Class 5 Driver’s License & Clean Abstract** - Ability to travel as needed within Alberta.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when required.
