**ADP is hiring a **HR Consultant - L&D** Specialist** for the Human Resources Outsourcing business. **The Learning Consultant strengthens the connection with clients through service and consultation. The role supports our HR COE group to manage the strategic relationships with C-level client contacts; creating and executing an account strategy and effectively influencing the direction of current and future human capital needs within the client's business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advise external clients and stakeholders on Learning and Development best practices.
- Help clients identify potential capability/skills and knowledge gaps and refer clients to available ADP services and products
- Provides strategic L&D advice to clients as a member of a team of HR professionals who are externally focused on driving business results for the HR value proposition and the HRO organization.
- Understands the business vision, values, strategy and drivers, and creates productive partnerships to deliver sustainable L&D solutions with clients.
- Work with internal team as well as sales partners, relationship managers and operations partners to develop, deliver and execute on the L&D value proposition.
- Design, deliver and execute learning tactics and strategies for our external clients.
- Conduct client needs assessments to identify learning & development needs and translate into learning and development solutions for our clients.
- Lead the implementation with clients blended learning models including Kirkpatrick evaluation design & implementation.
- Guide clients through performance consulting, helping businesses to identify performance gaps and root causes.
- Research information from multiple resources to provide best practice knowledge to external and internal clients. External client's range in size, employees, and span a wide variety of industries and levels of HR experience.
- Demonstrate high levels of technical and professional knowledge and quickly assimilate new knowledge. Keep up-to-date with current developments and trends in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
- Adheres to internal policies and procedures to minimize risk and liability to ADP. Must be able to transition between a wide variety of HR competencies quickly and proficiently.
- Participates in assigned HR projects to increase HR knowledge and experience including but not limited to in depth HR research, development of HR training, development of product enhancements, and works with multiple levels of HR Solutions team to assist in resolving multiple complex HR issues for clients.

**Education and Experience**:

- Undergraduate degree in Organizational Development, Adult Education, Human Resources Business/Human Resources, or related field
- 8+ years of diverse Learning & Development experience in a corporate environment.
- CSTD Certification or equivalent required
- Adult Educator Certificate (or equivalent)
- HR Designation - CHRP, CHRL, CPHR an asset

**Skills and Capabilities**:

- Strong Learning & Development design, delivery and execution skills.
- Strong business acumen to align both business objectives and HR strategies with corporate goals to maximize shareholder value.
- Strong diagnostic skills followed by good ability to evaluate options/alternatives and develop recommendations for solutions to complex and multi-dimensional L&D issues.
- Strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Developed consulting capabilities
- Skillful in resolving conflicts quickly and with win-win solutions/outcomes
- Adept at building and managing relationships effectively and be able to gain the confidence of business leaders quickly.
- Tenacity, resourceful, flexible and adaptable.
- Bilingual (English / French) is considered an asset
