We are hiring a **Driver Supervisor**. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, this is **a permanent full-time position.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist with overseeing the daily operations of the transportation department including managing a team of drivers, driver schedules and delivery routes,
- Keep delivery routes organized and updated; work with the Customer Service team to plan unscheduled deliveries and pickups,
- Work with our transportation partners to coordinate service and preventative maintenance; work with Rush-Ryder-and Penske arranging truck maintenance,
- Ensure drivers comply to company protocols, MTO guidelines and road safety,
- Help promote safety in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Policy,
- Assist with hiring, onboarding and training new drivers,
- Build, nature and lead a strong team focused on delivering exceptional service to customers,
- You may cover off routes for Driver vacation, sick days, and emergency deliveries,
- Additional duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 2 years of verified supervisory experience in logistics or transportation
- License & clean abstract with minimum 2 years of DZ driving experience,
- Strong knowledge of the GTA and surrounding areas
- College Diploma or University Degree preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and knowledge of TMS or ERP systems will be an asset
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication skills required,
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude,
- Must be able to lift 50lb,
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with demanding deadlines,
- Experience working in a distribution company; fast-paced environment; and /or direct experience working with distributors.

**Salary**: $58,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- commercial heavy-vehicle driving: 2 years (required)
- transportation supervisory: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- DZ licence (preferred)
