**Position Title**: Asset and Service Coordinator

**Status**: Regular Part Time

**Hours**: 24hrs/wk

**Faculty/Department**:Faculty of Media & Creative Arts

**Campus/Location**: North/Lakeshore/Hybrid

**Salary**: (Min) $24.99 - (Max) $38.45 per hour

**Education**:

- Minimum 3-year diploma or degree from a recognized college or university in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years working in a post-secondary environment and/or technical environment
- Evidenced experience with project management, IT asset management
- Knowledge of hardware, software, and license management
- Experience creating and maintaining databases using current authoring tools
- Experience with IT service management systems
- Strong understanding of IT asset management principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with maintaining up-to-date files in a manner consistent with departmental requirements would be considered an asset
- Occupational Health and Safety training would be considered an asset

**Key Skills**:

- Maintain stock rooms and IT inventory, which includes hardware (desktops, laptops, monitors, servers, peripherals, etc.) and software assets at multiple locations.
- Prepare inventory reports as needed on current inventory and perform cycle counts, as well as other inventory reconciliations.
- Ensure assets that are returned to storage for re-use are imaged and in good working order.
- Maintain and administer a variety of databases and datasets to departmental standards in coordination with IT team.
- Track and distribute software license keys to students and faculty.
- Work with Humber’s Purchasing Department to track capital assets and provide details to Fixed Assets team as required.
- Provide service support to faculty and employees with any hardware or software issues.
- Maintain and update FMCATech website including technical support, room schedules, and equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date files utilizing departmental file management requirements, including following nomenclature guidelines.
- Plan and execute regular IT asset audits to verify the accuracy of inventory records.
- Coordinate, and actively participate in, the replacement and disposal of obsolete or damaged IT assets.
- Coordinate FMCA computer loans for faculty, staff, and students on an ongoing basis and according to established replacement cycle.
