SUMMARY

As a member of our Operations team, you will work closely with cross functional team members to ensure all purchasing-related activities are completed on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, permanent role that will be reporting to the Operations Manager.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and submit purchase orders to domestic and overseas vendors.
- Sourcing of materials supplies and/or equipment.
- Plan and monitor stock levels and identify purchasing or stocking requirements.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery from domestic and oversea suppliers.
- Update and maintain ERP system with order details (dates, vendors, quantities)
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
- Communicate with cross functional departments ensure all products arrive in good condition and discrepancies are noted and corrected.
- Coordinate inbound logistics.
- Manage contract manufacturer scheduling.
- Coordinate inter-company transfers between US and Canadian locations.
- Coordinate stock transfers to our 3rd party manufacturing sites.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for cost reduction.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery and report to management quarterly

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Three years’ experience in manufacturing environment and working with overseas suppliers in China, Taiwan and

Vietnam
- Proficient understanding of supply chain procedures
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experience with Spire ERP and/or Netstock MRP systems is an asset.
