** Job Summary**-
- **As a Temporary Recruiter, your duties include (but not limited to)**- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans to attract top talent for engineering and manufacturing positions within the defence sector.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with Hiring Manager and HR Generalist.
- Provide regular recruitment metrics and reports to management.
- Advise hiring managers throughout the hiring process on matters such as interviewing techniques, selection protocols, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws in Ontario and Nova Scotia plus company policies.-
- **What you require to be successful in this role**- Possession of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management from a recognized educational institution or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the defence industry.
- Understanding of engineering and manufacturing roles and requirements.
- Proven ability to source, attract, and hire top talent.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.-
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.-
- Proficient with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.-
