**ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE**

This role reports to Sport & Recreation Program Coordinator

**SUMMARY**

Sport & Recreation offers Intramural programming (Indoor Soccer/Futsal, Badminton, Volleyball and Basketball) each semester. Intramural leaders are an essential part of creating a fun, inclusive and safe environment.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Act as a Referee for Intramural gamesScore keeps for Intramural games
- Monitor the gymnasium during Intramurals to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
- Assist in the organization, maintenance, and cleanup of the gymnasium
- Assist in the set up and take-down of equipment for Intramural programming
- Help with the nightly closing duties of the gymnasium and fitness centre
- Act in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required
- Support Sport & Recreation events and tournaments as required
- Educate users on Sport & Recreation policies and procedures
- Report critical incidents to the appropriate supervisor

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be a KPU Student
- Must be able to work week day evenings
- Commit to a minimum of 3-5 hours per week
- A basic understanding of sport and intramurals or willingness to learn
- Responsible, organized, and good interpersonal skills
- Able to work individually as well as in a team environment
