**Job Type**:Full-Time

**Start Date**:Immediate

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for structural steel (columns, beams, bracing, connections) and reinforced concrete components (rebar and formwork) based on architectural and structural drawings.
- Oversee on-site installation of steel structures, rebar placement, and formwork in compliance with engineering standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure timely material delivery and proper execution.
- Monitor progress and quality, enforce safety protocols, and provide daily site reports.
- Suggest cost-saving alternatives and detect any discrepancies in drawings or specifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in steel structure erection, rebar works, and formwork systems.
- knowledge of Canadian standards and codes (CSA, NBC) related to steel and concrete construction.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication details.
- Skilled in material estimating, site coordination, and team supervision.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

**Assets**:

- Experience in commercial or industrial building projects.
- Familiarity with quantity of take-off software (e.g. Planswift, Bluebeam, RebarCAD).

**To Apply**:
Pay: $18.46-$37.27 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
