- Conduct appliance diagnostics to determine root cause of issues
- Estimate the costs of repairs (parts and labour)
- Complete repairs on various brands and types of domestic appliances
- Update all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stock
- Adhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental procedures
- Ensure the proper maintenance of tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years previous experience in major appliance service is an asset but willing to train new to the field if interested in repairing stuff. (Unpaid training if required)
- Valid driver’s license and should own car
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly developed technical, investigative, and analytical skills
- Punctuality is must
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Domestic Appliance or Gas Technician 2 Certification and ODP would be considered assets

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $31,685.00-$74,731.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Appliance repair: 1 year (preferred)
