**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
As a member of the Finance team, the Controller provides strategic direction and maintains responsive, quality financial and accounting functions. The Controller has an in-depth understanding and knowledge in finance as well as broader industry and economic knowledge. A proactive approach to continuously improve and address financial issues and opportunities for a dynamic health care facility is required. The Controller is a strategic thinker with ability to see beyond the numbers, with an innovative style and demonstrated solid business judgment.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Professional Accounting Designation required (Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant preferred)
- Degree in Commerce or related field.
- Five to ten years of previous finance and/or accounting leadership experience (experience in a hospital setting or similar health care organization an asset).
- Experience in managing an accounting department.
- Well-rounded business and finance background to compliment a strong financial/accounting technical background.
- Knowledge of hospital operations, OHRS and hospital funding formula and reporting requirements.
- Expertise in reporting, control, analysis, systems, planning with a commitment to constantly improving services
