Position: Scale Attendant

An opportunity is available at an organics recycling facility on the forefront of sustainability in the Sea to Sky region. Become a part of the team at this locally owned and operated site, offering competitive pay, benefits and a great working environment.

This position will be focused on customer relations, sales, and administrative support. The position reports to the Foreman and will work independently in communication with members of the team.

Tasks include:

- Scaling trucks in/out and directing them to drop-off/pick-up locations
- Handling sales transactions - processing cash/card payments
- General housekeeping
- Gathering information for reporting
- Daily site inspections
- Purchasing - maintaining inventory of required tools/items

Essential Attributes:

- Proven track record of customer relations and front of house experience
- Understanding of soil or a willingness to learn
- Ability to remain productive in a busy environment
- Willingness to work alone and as part of a team
- Reliability and good work ethic
- Organized and experienced with filing systems

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
